LAFAKE, represents the collaborative work of Jose Luna “Stage & Costume designer” and Irene Aparici “Graphic designer & Photographer”.

Inspired by the Docufiction, LAFAKE documents its work by contaminating it with elements of fiction.

These works aim to highlight the imperfection of beauty, the duality between what it is real and what is fictitious. An extravagant aesthetic context loaded with surrealism, kitsch and pop elements.

With a passion for visual eloquence LaFake tries to establish its own place between a social reality and art.

“Too true to be fake,” is an electric cry open to the exploration of ethical issues, social stereotypes, as well as the construction of personal, family or corporate identities.
